Introduction to Dreamwork Certificate

The Introduction to Dreamwork certificate is awarded to those who attend and participate in a one-year experiential dream group at introductory level. Participation involves sharing and discussing your dreams and offering feedback to your colleagues as facilitated by the course leader. You do not need prior training as a counsellor or therapist to join at this level. The Introduction to Dreamwork Certificate is a good starting point for those who are interested in learning more about their own dreams and personal development based on dreamwork from a spiritual perspective.

How does the online certificate course work?

The Introduction to Dreamwork online certificate is awarded based on participation in an experiential dream group via Zoom where you can learn about your own dreams, take your personal process further, and learn how to work with and understand your own dreams.

The facilitated dream group will give an experiential immersion in the psychospiritual perspective on dreams and teach how to recognise and work with the guidance that is present in your dreams. You will share and work with your own dreams and witness dream work with other group members, thereby learning about personal and cultural associations as well as symbols and frameworks for recognising aspects of your own consciousness and growth, including the planes of consciousness, the alchemical process of transformation, and archetypal and mythical resonances for personal experience.

Who teaches the course?

One of our associates (see 'About Us' link at the top of the page) will lead the dream group, depending on demand and availability. We will keep applicants informed about course and facilitator availability.

What is the cost of the course?

The 2024 cost is £2245 for the year. Costs are subject to change.

How does the course work?

Each week, 1-3 members will be invited to share a dream. The dreamwork focuses on the Waking Dream Process, a method for revisiting and re-imagining dreams. The course leader will facilitate an exploration and discussion of the dream with the dreamer.

Who can join the course?

Application is open to dreamers of all backgrounds who have sufficient experience of personal therapy, personal development or other process work. You are recommended to have personal therapy in parallel to the course in order to help integrate the dreamwork.

Does this course result in a qualification?

Introduction to Dreamwork (online) is a continuing professional development (CPD) certificate but not a post-diploma certification as a dream therapist. Members can attend for more than one year to go deeper into their own process. Qualified therapists may wish to move on to the Essentials and Advanced courses. Some may wish to move on to the Lucid Dreaming course.
